Lake Conjola Opening Hinges on Trigger Levels

With rain forecast early this week, Council is preparing to mobilise machinery to open Lake Conjola if trigger levels for mechanical intervention are reached.

The lake is currently at 0.92m AHD and Council can intervene and manually open the lake when it reaches 1m AHD, under the NSW Crown Lands Licence.

Wet weather predicted by the BoM anticipate a medium to low chance of between 50 ml to 100 ml of rain during Monday and Tuesday.

An excavator will be on site tomorrow at Manyana, ready to be activated if the weather eventuates and the trigger level is reached.
