Lift off for Perth Landing Pad

  • New program to support global companies expanding into Western Australia
  • Startup ecosystem supporter Spacecubed launches Perth Landing Pad
  • A new platform has been launched to assist startups looking to invest and grow in Western Australia.

    At the launch of West Tech Fest 2022, Innovation and ICT Minister Stephen Dawson commended Spacecubed and the City of Perth for their collaboration in bringing the Perth Landing Pad to fruition.

    Perth Landing Pad is co-funded by the McGowan Government through the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, and the City of Perth.

    The program is designed to attract high-growth startups from around the world to Perth, supporting them to grow and scale up their businesses in WA.

    Perth Landing Pad will enable technology companies to experience 90 days in WA through a guided program, with access to mentoring, local business connections, co-working and community spaces, and guidance on long-term residency.

    The program will build on Perth's profile as a destination of choice for innovation and investment, while simultaneously providing WA businesses with a pathway into global markets.

    As stated by State Development, Jobs and Trade Minister Roger Cook:
