We're excited to announce we've been awarded $35,164 through the Victorian Government's Community Climate Change and Energy Action program.
This grant helps community groups tenanting Shire facilities to lower operating costs, make sustainability improvements and reduce emissions.
The works will be co-funded by the tenants, and will go towards:
Mount Eliza Bowls Club
Replacing inefficient cooking, refrigeration and hot water appliances with efficient electric models, as well as 11.7 kW rooftop solar installation.
Mount Eliza Neighbourhood House
Replacing gas hot water system with heat pump hot water, installation of efficient LED lighting, abolishment of existing gas connection, and installation of 6.3 kW rooftop solar.
Sorrento Community Centre
Upgrading old lighting to efficient and lower-maintenance LEDs.
Mount Eliza Fifty Five Plus Club
Installing 6.3 kW of rooftop solar.
