Sex Crimes Squad detectives have charged a man with alleged child abuse material offences under Strike Force Glandore.
Strike Force Glandore was established in 2023 by State Crime Command's Sex Crimes Squad Child Internet Exploitation Unit (CEIU) to investigate the online distribution, supply and access of child abuse material.
As part of ongoing investigations, about 9am today (Wednesday 15 April 2026) strike force detectives executed a search warrant in Belmore.
At the address, police seized electronic devices including a computer and phone for forensic examination.
A 21-year-old man was arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station, where he was charged with three counts of use carriage to access child abuse material.
The man was refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court today (Wednesday 15 April 2026).
Strike Force Glandore inquiries are ongoing.
