A Payneham man will face court tomorrow charged with 28 offences relating to cybercrime.
Detectives from South Australia Police Financial and Cybercrime Investigation Branch arrested the 22-year-old man today, Wednesday 15 April, following an investigation into a series of alleged cyber-related offences.
It will be alleged that between 22 December 2025 and 13 April 2026 the man attended at a number of private and government business within Adelaide and other areas to facilitate the offending.
The investigation is complex with alleged offences including unauthorised access to and modification of computer data committed under both South Australian and Commonwealth legislation.
A number of items were located at the home address of the man which Police have seized for forensic examination. The man has been charged with 28 offences relating to cybercrime offending.
He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, Thursday 16 April.
