Man dies after Barnawartha North crash

Wodonga Highway Patrol officers will prepare a report for the coroner following a crash in Barnawartha North last week.

The single-vehicle collision occurred when the driver of a south-bound Holden Commodore sedan drove off the Hume Freeway onto the Murray Valley Highway on-ramp just before 3pm on Friday 30 October.

While on the on-ramp the driver, a 52-year-old South Albury man, lost control of his vehicle, striking the Armco railing, before leaving the roadway and crashing into a tree.

The driver, who was the only occupant, was conveyed to hospital but unfortunately passed way on Sunday 1 November.
