Man dies after falling from moving vehicle

A man has died in hospital following a collision in North Geelong last week.

It is believed the 32-year-old St Albans Park man fell from a moving vehicle on Victoria Street, near Nepean Close, about 11.10am on Sunday, 20 December.

He was located on the road and was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

Sadly, he died in hospital on Saturday.

The driver of the blue Holden Commodore, a 26-year-old Grovedale man, did not stop to assist however he was arrested later that day.

He was interviewed by detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit and was released pending further enquiries.
