Man dies after single-vehicle crash, NSW

Inquiries are continuing after a man died in a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s south this morning, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to the Hume Motorway, near Picton Road, Pheasants Nest, about 8.15am today (Wednesday 18 July 2018), following reports a car veered off the road and rolled.

The driver of a Jaguar and sole occupant, a 74-year-old man, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
