Missing Caloundra woman possibly in Gympie area

Forty-three-year-old Caloundra woman Jessica Richmond has been missing since December 24 with police and family concerned for her safety and wellbeing due to a medical condition.

It is believed Jessica left her Caloundra home on Christmas eve with investigations indicating she may have travelled to Gympie, possibly hitch hiking and possibly staying in low budget motels or more itinerant accommodation.

Jessica contacted family this afternoon (December 31) suggesting she was now in the southside of Gympie, using a pay phone to call.

Anyone who has seen Jessica or has any information in relation to her whereabouts is asked to contact police.

Jessica is described as Caucasian, approximately 165cms tall with a solid build and long blonde hair.
