Mortality among adults with Alzheimer disease, related dementias before, during pandemic

What The Study Did: The results of this study of 53.6 million Medicare enrollees suggest that the COVID-19 pandemic may be associated with increased mortality among older adults with Alzheimer disease and related dementias, especially for Asian, Black and Hispanic populations and people living in nursing homes, even in areas with low COVID-19 prevalence.
