NASA is inviting people to send their names to be included on a flash drive that will fly on the Orion spacecraft during the agencys Artemis I mission and now people can obtain their Artemis boarding passes in Spanish.

The agencys Send your name on Artemis campaign launched on March 2 and already has collected over 1.7 million names. Now, with the translation of the website and boarding passes into Spanish, NASA aims to further encourage Spanish-speaking people worldwide to participate.

Artemis I will be the first uncrewed flight test of the Space Launch System rocket and the Orion spacecraft launching from NASAs Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The flight, scheduled to launch in the coming months, paves the way toward landing the first woman and the first person of color on the Moon. NASAs Artemis program aims to establish a sustained human presence in our natural satellite that will serve as a launching pad for exploring Mars and beyond.
