ESCWA conducted a round of discussions on 15 and 16 March to forge a national strategy for development financing in Jordan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.
ESCWA presented the interactive tools it had developed to support Arab countries in formulating integrated financing strategies. Participants included officials from the Central Bank in Jordan, the ministry of finance and that of planning.
Establishing a national strategy for development financing is key to localizing necessary axes and financial resources, which can be mobilized from various local and international sources.
