The name reflects the connected hub of people who live in the united and diverse local community.

The community has a strong village lifestyle that promotes togetherness, belonging and community spirit, which are all values that will be a key focus at the school.

Wellard Village Primary School will accommodate 650 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in state-of-the-art facilities.

It will feature an administration block, library, staff room, early learning block, general learning classroom blocks with art, science and inclusive education rooms, a covered assembly area, hard courts, an oval with tiered seating, and landscaped surrounds.

The school is due to open its doors to students in 2023.
