How does Jewish ethics regard the broad topic of Artificial Intelligence? What does it have to say about other areas of technological research and innovation? These questions are the focus of the upcoming Academy Talk of the TUM:Junge Akademie in collaboration with the Hochschule für Politik München (HfP) - Bavarian School of Public Policy (HfP) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

The President of the Conference of European Rabbis, Pinchas Goldschmidt, will engage in a discussion with Prof. Astrid Séville, Assistant Professor for Political Theory and Philosophy at the HfP. From 1993 until 2022 Rabbi Goldschmidt was the Chief Rabbi of Moscow. However, he had to leave the country because of his rejection of the Russian attack on Ukraine. Séville studied in Freiburg and Paris and has taught at the University of Vienna. Among other topics, her research addresses populism and democratic opposition.
