The new primary school facilities include a kindergarten/pre-primary classroom block with an associated playground, three general learning classroom blocks, a science and art classroom block and a library.

The school also provides spaces for students to play and learn outdoors with a covered assembly area, two hard courts, two cricket practice nets, two shaded playgrounds and tree-shaded student breakout areas.

A dental therapy centre has been built on-site to offer students the best care and support when it comes to their dental health.

The school welcomed 250 students from kindergarten to Year 6 at the beginning of the 2022 school year, with enrolments expected to increase in line with the population of the rapidly growing suburb of Treeby.

As stated by Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery:

"Treeby Primary School is a much welcomed addition for its local area, so I am excited to announce its official opening.

"This brand new school's state-of-the-art facilities and variety of outdoor leaning areas will encourage students to learn, play and discover their passions."

As stated by Jandakot MLA Yaz Mubarakai:

"The official opening of this new school follows years of hard work, so it's wonderful to see students learning and playing in its grounds.

"Treeby is a growing community for young families, so I am pleased that I have been able to work with the Minister to deliver this important milestone for the suburb."
