NSW police probe after children struck by car on Sydney's North Shore

Police have launched an investigation after two children were struck by a car on Sydney’s North Shore yesterday evening, NSW Police said.

Shortly after 10pm Friday, officers attached to North Shore Local Area Command were called to the corner of River Road West and Longueville Road, Longueville, after reports of a crash.

They have now been discharged.

The driver, a 25-year-old man, was submitted to a road-side breath test, which returned a negative result.

Investigations to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are continuing.
