OAS

The Electoral Observation Mission (EOM) of the Organization of American States (OAS) for the gubernatorial elections in Bolivia has deployed a technical team for the second round.

During its work in the country, the OAS team of observers will monitor the electoral processes taking place in the departments of Beni, Chuquisaca, Oruro, Santa Cruz, and Tarija. The team will meet with national and departmental electoral authorities, candidates, political actors, and representatives of civil society, among others. On Sunday, it will observe election day in each of the departments.

This is the twenty-sixth OAS deployment in Bolivia and is made possible thanks to contributions from Brazil, South Korea, Spain, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Panama, and Türkiye.
