A police officer has been charged with assault following an incident in Sydney last year.
The male constable attached to the Central Metropolitan Region, was served a Court Attendance Notice for the offence of common assault, following an alleged incident that occurred in The Rocks on Sunday 23 June 2019.
The 31-year-old is due to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 12 August 2020.
