Optus to improve mobile coverage across the Barossa Valley

Optus today announced it will continue to improve mobile coverage across the Barossa Valley after switching on new mobile towers in Moculta, Cockatoo Valley and the Tanunda CBD.

The new towers will provide improved 4G mobile coverage and capacity for residents and visitors across the region to make and receive calls, texts and access mobile data.

Optus Territory Manager for Regional South Australia, Rob Seymour said, these sites will not only improve coverage for residents and tourists visiting these towns, but also improve mobile reception for those who travel along Barossa Valley Way.

Optus remains committed to providing fast and reliable mobile and internet coverage across the Barossa Valley, said Mr Seymour.

Optus has plans to further improve its mobile network across the Barossa, building three new sites by this financial year to improve mobile coverage in this important regional area.

Local Optus franchisee Mr Craig Bruins said the completion of the new mobile tower in Molculta provides a competitive telecommunications alternative for local residents and businesses.
