Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by car - Granville

A man remains in a serious condition after being struck by a car in Granville today.

About 6.50pm (Thursday 28 May 2020), a man, aged 67, was attempting to cross Mimosa Street, near Clyde Street, Granville, when he was struck by a car.

The pedestrian suffered head injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle, a man aged 48, was taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory tests.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command attended the scene and are conducting inquiries.
