Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 22 November 2020

Sales activity decreased three percent in Perth last week, with REIWAmembers reporting 877transactions.

This decrease can be attributed to afour per cent fall in house sales, four per cent fall in unit sales and nochange in vacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 10,235 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is inline with the previous week.

A closer look at listing stock levelsshows house listings increased by one per cent, listings for units remainedstable and listings for vacant land decreased by one per cent.

Last week's total figure is one percent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and are 29 per cent lower thanlevels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were2,864 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is inline with the previous week.

Last week's rental listings figure ison par with levels seen four weeks ago but are 53 per cent lower than levelsseen a year ago.
