Perth Medtech Firms Shine at AusMedtech Event

  • AusMedtech 2026 is heading to Perth from 19-21 May
  • Leading national medtech conference will feature local and international talent from the medical technology sector
  • Following an expression of interest, eight local startups will have the chance to showcase their technologies on the main floor

Eight local medtech companies have been successful in their Expression of Interest (EOI) to join the upcoming AusMedtech conference in Perth.

The Cook Labor Government is sponsoring Startup Alley and several AusMedtech exhibition pods have been made available to the successful applicants following an EOI process.

This opportunity was aimed at early-stage medtech companies with a small number of full-time employees.

The successful companies are:

Velora Health Pty Ltd

Medtech startup developing a wearable device that accurately measures breastmilk intake in real time during feeding.

Xantha Group Pty Ltd

Mobile simulation technology to help healthcare staff improve personcentred interactions and create safer care environments.

Nasella Pty Ltd

Developing a nasal feeding tube securement device that reduces dislodgement, skin injury, and distress.

OrthoLuma Pty Ltd

Developing nextgeneration laserbased surface registration for robotic and computernavigated orthopaedic surgery.

Inova Medical Pty Ltd

Developing a sterile, single-use device designed to enable safe, efficient drainage of deep and superficial skin abscesses in ambulatory settings.

Neuroana Pty Ltd

Developing a next-generation wearable neurotechnology platform that combines multi-channel EEG monitoring, non-invasive brain stimulation, and AI-driven analytics.

Materia Health Pty Ltd

Transforming transplant outcomes by addressing a critical and urgent challenge: the preservation and transport of donor organs and tissues.

Cytophenix

Developing rapid antimicrobial susceptibility tests to identify effective antibiotics and antifungals for patients.

AusMedtech will be held at Crown Towers in Perth from 19 to 21 May.

The conference will see innovators, researchers, clinicians, investors, and government partners all in attendance.

Selected startups will be able to showcase their ideas and products to industry leaders and investors along with healthcare professionals from across the globe.
