Police appeal over missing Blue Mountains man

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Blue Mountains.

Michael Morell, aged 47, was last seen leaving a property in Hillview Road, Katoomba, about 8am yesterday (Wednesday 9 November 2022).

When Michael failed to return home and could not be contacted, officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Concerns are held for Michael's welfare due to medical conditions that require treatment.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with black/grey hair, and a grey beard.

Michael was last seen wearing a blue skivvy, blue jumper, and grey track pants.

He is known to frequent the Sydney, Sydney's inner west and Blue Mountains areas.
