Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man reported missing from Sydney's south.
Janko 'John' Poljak, aged 89, was last seen on Caroma Avenue, Kyeemagh, about 3pm today (Saturday 6 June 2026).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Janko's welfare, as he lives with dementia and requires medication.
Janko is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of slim build, with medium length grey hair and beard.
He was last seen wearing a navy sweater, beige corduroy trousers, and brown lace up shoes.
He is known to frequent the Kyeemagh, Brighton Le Sands, and Illawong areas.
