Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Throssell (Northam) yesterday, Monday 3 July 2023.
About 6.25pm, a white Ford Autopro transit van was travelling north on the Northam-York Road between Northam and York when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 59-year-old man, sustained critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Ford Autopro transit van travelling in the area prior to the crash, and urge anyone with information relating to this incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au
