Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Stake Hill last night, Thursday, 29 June 2023.
About 10.40pm, a blue Holden Commodore sedan broke down on the northbound carriageway of the Kwinana Freeway and was stationary on the side of the road.
Two women alighted from the vehicle and one was struck by a Mitsubishi Outlander vehicle. The 26-year-old woman sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the blue Holden Commodore sedan or the two female occupants in the area prior to the crash, and urge anyone with information relating to this incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au
