About 7.55am, a road train travelling east and a Toyota Hilux travelling west on Quairading-York Road were involved in a collision.
Emergency services, including a rescue helicopter attended the scene.
The 67-year-old female driver of the Toyota Hilux was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of critical injuries received as a result of the crash.
The 28-year-old male truck driver was not injured.
