Police are responding to serious crash, Riverview

Police are investigating a serious single vehicle crash involving a motorbike at Riverview yesterday.

Preliminary information suggests the motorcycle was travelling down the Warrego Highway off ramp onto the Ipswich Motorway towards Brisbane, when it struck a guardrail before crashing around 7.35am.

The rider, a 23-year-old man from Toowoomba, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The Forensic Crash unit is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have dashcam vision of the motorbike, a maroon/red Suzuki GSX750 Queensland registration 767LV, and a gold Mazda 3 travelling with the bike prior to the incident, to come forward.
