Police have charged a man after he was allegedly behaving erratically in St Kilda on 19 July.
The man allegedly followed a woman though Alma Park and made threats about 10.55am.
He allegedly assaulted people at a café on Alma Road a short time later.
It is alleged he entered a service station armed with a piece of glass, before being restrained by security staff.
The 50-year-old St Kilda man was taken to hospital under police guard.
He's been charged with:
- make threat to kill x 2
- attempt to commit sexual assault
- threat to destroy property
- unlawful assault
- tamper with motor vehicle
- theft
- possess dangerous article
- behave in riotous manner
- commit indictable offence on bail
He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 10 August.
