Police charge man over Ravenswood incident

A man has been arrested and charged in relation to an alleged dangerous driving and evade incident in the Ravenswood area last week.

Police were called to a separate disturbance in Ravenswood overnight, and a 24-year-old Ravenswood man was arrested without incident.

He was charged with multiple offences relating to the alleged driving incident on Tuesday 29 August, during which numerous police resources, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter were utilised.

The charges include Evade Police (Aggravated Circumstances), Reckless Driving, Destroy Property, Common Assault, Possess a controlled drug, a number of firearms offences, and other driving offences.

The man was detained to appear in an out of hours court session tonight.
