Police charge man with sexually assaulting a woman after meeting via dating app

Sex Assault Squad Detectives have charged a man after their investigation into an alleged sexual assault that occurred in May 2018.

In 2017 the man and the victim, a woman in her 40s, met via a social media dating platform. One night in May 2018, the woman attended the man's home and it will be alleged as she walked inside, he grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.

The man from Highgate has been charged with:-

• Five counts of Aggravated Sexual Penetration without Consent; and

• One count of Attempted Aggravated Sexual Penetration without Consent.

He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 22 May 2019.
