Police charge woman over drug supply - Wentworth Point

A woman has been charged with drug offences after cocaine and cash were seized in Wentworth Point overnight.

About 10.30pm (Wednesday 9 December 2020), detectives attached to Auburn Police Area Command were conducting proactive patrols in relation to drug supply in the Wentworth Point area.

While on patrol, officers saw a vehicle parked on Hill Road, and spoke with a man and two women inside.

When the vehicle was searched, a bag containing cocaine, methylamphetamine, cannabis and $15,200 cash – alleged to be the proceeds of crime – was seized.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Auburn Police Station, where she was charged with:

• Deal with property proceeds of crime

• Supply prohibited drug >indictable and

• Possess prohibited drug.

The woman was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court today (Thursday 10 December 2020).

Inquiries are continuing.
