Police concerned for teen missing from West Pymble

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing in Sydney's north.

Douglas Melville, aged 13, was last seen leaving a home on Bolwarra Avenue, West Pymble, about 1pm on Wednesday 7 April 2021.

Officers attached to Kuring-Gai Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Douglas' welfare due to his young age.

Douglas is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of solid build, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, shorts, and white shoes.

Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
