Police investigate drive-by shooting series in Wodonga

Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating three drive-by shootings in Wodonga on Saturday night.

During the first incident, a shot was fired through the loungeroom window of a Wornes Drive home between 8.30-9.30pm.

The 49-year-old female occupant was not home at the time and discovered the shooting had occurred on Sunday afternoon.

In the second incident, detectives have confirmed through CCTV footage that a shot was fired at the Gilbert Street home about 1.50am, however it's believed the shot went wide or the gun misfired.

During the final incident, two occupants were in the bedroom of their Georgina Street home in Wodonga West when a shot was fired through the window at 4.50am.

Luckily the 30-year-old woman and 39-year-old man were not injured.

Police believe all three shootings were targeted.

Investigators have released CCTV footage from the Gilbert Street incident that shows a hatchback believed to be involved in the shootings.
