Police investigate serious crash - Eastern Creek

Police are investigating after a serious multi-vehicle crash in Sydney's west yesterday.

About 5.15pm (Friday 4 June 2021), emergency services were called to Wonderland Drive at Eastern Creek following reports of a crash.

Police have been told a white Toyota Prado and white Subaru Outback traveling south collided before the Prado crossed to the incorrect side of the road and impacted with a parked B-double truck.

The 31-year-old female driver of the Prado was trapped before being released by emergency services. She was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

Her two passengers, aged 5 and 13, were not injured.

A 21-year-old passenger in the Subaru was not injured.

The driver of the Subaru, a 33-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are now investigating the circumstances surround the crash.

As inquiries continue, anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the incident is urged to call Mount Druitt Police or Crime Stoppers.
