Police make arrests over drug offences in Darwin

Northern Territory Police Drug Detection Dog Rafa intercepted a parcel containing methamphetamine yesterday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of two people in Darwin City.

A search warrant at their residences located a quantity of multiple illicit substances, fireworks and other items indicative of drug supply and usage.

A 38-year-old woman was charged with drug and other offences and was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

A 52-year-old man was charged with drug offences and bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on 9 March 2023.

Investigations continue into the matter.
