Police make drug arrest at Tailem Bend

A man has been arrested at Tailem Bend after a vehicle search.

It will be alleged that about 11.50am today (Thursday 18 January), officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch Officers stopped and searched a car after receiving information in relation to drug trafficking.

Police located three kilograms of methamphetamine, 14 grams of cocaine, 4,000 tablets suspected to be MDMA (ecstasy) and $35,000 cash.

A 48-year-old man from Sellicks Hill was charged with trafficking a controlled drug and money laundering.

He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday 19 January.
