Major Crash officers have charged a serving police officer over a serious traffic crash which occurred in Yanchep on 23 May 2019.
It will be alleged that the 51-year-old male Senior Constable, who was off-duty at the time, was the driver of vehicle that collided with another at around 12.45pm on Indian Ocean Drive.
He has been charged with 2 x Endanger Life, Health or Safety of a Person and will appear before the Joondalup Magistrates Court today, 14 June 2019.
The officer, who works for State Traffic, has been stood down from duty.
