Police officer suspendedin Brisbane Region 20 June

A 38-year old female senior constable from Brisbane Region, has been suspended from duty with the Queensland Police Service. The officer had previously been stood down from duty while an investigation occurred.

The officer has been issued with a Notice to Appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court for the charges of forging and uttering a document and fraud, pursuant to the Criminal Code.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
