Police Release CCTV of Burglary and Theft in Port Melbourne

Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary and theft in Port Melbourne last month.

Investigators have been told a man entered a building on Plummer Street as a resident left through the secure front door, on Friday 24 March about, 1am.

The man made his way through the foyer of the building before he entered the reception area, of a restaurant on the ground floor, and helped himself to an Apple iMac computer.

He then left the building via the front door.

Detectives have released CCTV footage and an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.

The man is described as having a medium build and is approximately 20-30 years of age.

He was wearing a white T-shirt, white pants, a gold-coloured watch and a black and white satchel bag.
