A man has died, and a woman is in hospital following a serious single vehicle traffic crash in Preston last evening (June 30).
At 6pm, police will allege a car was travelling along Conway Road in Preston and left the roadway for an unknown reason.
Upon arrival, police located both the driver and passenger entrapped in the car.
Sadly, the passenger, a 48-year-old Preston man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver, a 41-year-old female, was transported to Proserpine Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are seeking anyone that may have seen the crash or had dashcam footage to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
