Police seek information about assault, North Brisbane

Police have released images of a man who they believe can assist them with their investigations into the serious assault of another man, at Zillmere on December 30.

Initial investigations indicate there was a disturbance in the carpark of a unit complex on Duffy Street around 4.30am yesterday.

The incident escalated with one of the men producing a machete and striking the other man.

The 31-year-old male victim received a deep laceration to his arm and was admitted to hospital.

Officers investigating the incident are asking anyone who may have seen the man or have information, including vision before or after the assault, to contact police.
