Detectives are appealing for public assistance after two cars were set alight in Sydney's eastern beaches last year.
About 11.10pm on Saturday 14 November 2020, emergency serves were called to a house on Suttie Road, Bellevue Hill, following reports two cars were on fire.
Upon arrival, emergency services found a Volkswagen Golf and a Porsche SUV alight.
Police have been told the Volkswagen caught alight in the driveway of the home before the fire spread to the SUV in a neighbouring property.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, which caused significant damage to the vehicles.
No one was injured.
Detectives from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command established a crime scene and are investigating the incident, which is being treated as suspicious.
As inquiries continue, investigators have released images of a man who they would like to speak to.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 70-years-old.
The man is depicted wearing a green camouflage bucket hat, a black jacket, a blue t-shirt, khaki green pants, khaki-coloured shoes, and black sunglasses.
