Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was hit by a vehicle, which failed to stop at Buderim tonight.
Initial investigations indicate a 13-year-old boy was riding his bicycle on Sugar Road just after 6pm when he was struck by an unknown vehicle at the roundabout intersection with Wises Road.
The vehicle is believed to be a dark coloured dual cab utility with a silver sport bar which has then headed south toward Buderim.
Investigators are appealing to the driver or anyone with further information or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact police.
The boy sustained leg injuries and was transport the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
