Police seek witnesses to Drung collision

Police are appealing for public assistance following a serious collision in Drung earlier this week.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Horsham-Lubeck Road and Rokesky Road to reports that a silver Kia Carnival and a white Subaru station-wagon collided about 5.10pm on Tuesday, 23 August.

A 14-year-old Horsham boy was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 15-year-old Horsham boy from the same vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The 18-year-old female driver and another two occupants of that vehicle, as well as five occupants of the second vehicle were assessed for minor injuries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.

Horsham Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of a 2009 silver Kia Carnival driving south along Rosesky Road or in the Horsham area prior to the collision.
