The Prahran Divisional Response Unit and Vanguard Taskforce have uncovered a major hydroponic cannabis crop inside a house at Malvern East.
Police executed a warrant at a property in Argyll Street on Thursday morning, 9 July.
Investigators seized about 250 mature cannabis plants with a street value of $400,000.
No one was arrested at the property and investigations are continuing.
Inspector Helen Chugg said, "the seizure was a great result for the community contributing to the reduction in high-harm crime."
