The 38-year-old security guard who was seriously assaulted at a Caboolture shopping centre earlier this month has passed away overnight.
The man was pronounced deceased last night at the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital.
The 30-year-old man who was charged was remanded in custody and will reappear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on November 25.
