Police update 2: Wounding, Hendra

Police investigating an alleged wounding incident at Hendra on Saturday, March 26, have released new footage as they continue to appeal for information.

Initial investigations indicate a 22-year-old man received a gunshot wound from a person unknown to him following an altercation in Gerler Road at around 1.30pm.

Two men wearing high visibility clothing, pictured in the footage, confronted the 22-year-old while sitting in his black vehicle.

The two men are described as having a solid build, wearing caps and were seen driving a white utility.

Hendra detectives continue to appeal for residential CCTV footage and dash-camera footage, specifically along McIntyre Street, Gerler Road and Zillman Road in Hendra between 1:15pm and 1:45pm (March 26).

Investigations are continuing.
