Police update 3: Kiamba wounding and armed robbery charges

Sunshine Coast detectives investigating the stabbing and armed robbery of a man at Kiamba on Monday, May 18 have charged a 17-year-old teenage boy.

Police located the teenager at an address in Acacia Ridge this morning.

The teenager was charged with deprivation of liberty, acts intended to maim, wounding, robbery in company whilst armed, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and unlawful possession of a weapon, driving a motor vehicle without a driver licence and possessing dangerous drugs.

He is due to appear in court in Brisbane Children's Court next month.
