Property offence charges at Townsville

Police have released vision of the arrest of a male teenager involved in multiple property offences as part of Operation Nano.

Since Operation Nano commenced on Thursday, January 20, police have arrested 10 adults on 38 charges and 12 juveniles on 80 charges.

Around 10.55am yesterday, police arrested a teenager in Heatley.

The 15-year-old Mount Louisa male is due to appear in Townsville Childrens Court today charged with three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts each of burglary and attempted entering a dwelling and one count each of serious assault of a police officer and possessing drug utensils.

Police will allege the offences include break ins and car thefts from properties in Mount Low, Bohle Plains, Cranbrook and Douglas between January 18 and 20.
